		Shea Butter Soaps

African Shea butter is a rich nut butter that produces a gourmet soap that's extremely soothing and nourishing for even the most sensitive skin. These traditional cold-process soaps are luxurious and enhance facial skin as well as all skin types.

Contains: olive oil, coconut oil, Alaskan snow or rain, palm oil, sodium hydroxide, organic unrefined shea butter, pure essential oils, rosemary oil extract (a natural preservative). Keep in a well-drained soap dish.

Wild Alaska Rose The beautiful speckles in this soap come from the wild Alaskan rose petals we hand-pick from our local fields in view of the snow-capped Kenai Mountains. We churn organic shea butter with the petals for gentle exfoliation. In combination with rosewater and rose-geranium essential oils, your skin and senses will treasure this soap.

Polar Mint The fresh herbal scent of spring is most welcome after a long Alaskan winter. Peppermint and orange create an energizing aroma as refreshing as a cool glacier breeze on a sunny day. We infuse this soap with our homegrown ground peppermingt leaves for gentle exfoliation. Organic Shea Butter makes Polar Mint soap exceptionally moisturizing.

Midnight Sun Alaska is famous for the long hours of summer daylight. You might find us fishing or kayaking or gardening - or making soap - as late as midnight. Our carefully balanced, exotic combination of lavender and patchouli blended with super-softening shea butter deserves to be part of a midnight bath. You could light a candle.

Patrick is slicing 43 lbs of soap with a wire cutter. The timing must be perfect so the soap is firm enough to remain rigid, but soft enough to allow the wires to slice. This large block will become 144 evenly shaped bars. They are cured for a month before sale so you are ensured of a hard long-lasting bar. Needless to say, our workshop smells delightful.
